Chapter 57-Forbidden Fruit

Johnny remembered this hot looking number from his last night in Aurora Skies.  He was ordered to lay low as the boss found out that he could be recognized, but his body was craving some female companionship so against orders he went out to pick up a girl.  He was seen and by the worst possible person, the bosses old man, who warned him that this chick was jail bait.  The last thing Johnny needed was to be arrested for statutory rape so he backed off.  He counted the years that had passed by and he knew she was no longer jail bait and they were far from home.  Tonight this chick was his and nothing or nobody would change that.

Starr: Giancarlo?

Johnny: Yes its me, pretty lady.  I have been living here for the past few years, what brings you to Egypt?

Starr:  It's for my career.  I'm here to take some pretty pictures.

Johnny: You're a model here for a photoshoot?

Starr: No I'm a photographer, I'll be behind the camera.

Johnny: That is a pity, the pretty pictures should be of you.

Starr: I am photogenic but I'm actually here to take pretty pictures of Egypt

Johnny:  I know this place like the back of my hand, I would be happy to accompany a pretty lady like yourself and show her where to take the prettiest pictures.

Starr: That seems like an offer I can't refuse.

Johnny:  No pretty lady, that offer hasn't been made yet, but it will.

Johnny was more than happy to show her the sites she wanted to explore, as she was a site he wanted to explore again and again.  He showed her the Sphinx, the pyramids, and he even took her inside of a tomb.  Once she got all the pictures she needed, he was going to take her to see the most wonderous site of them all, the inside of his tent.

Her very own personal tour guide was something Starr never expected but yet it was something she had.  Everyday Johnny would show her a new wonder to explore and she appreciated every minute they spent together.  Ever since she met him on prom night she fantasized what it would be like, to hold him, kiss him and to woohoo with him.  Now he wasn't a fantasy, he was real and he was here with her.  There was something about him that attracted her, but she had this overwhelming feeling that everything about him was wrong that she should just walk away and never see this man again.   That was what her head was telling her but her heart was telling her something different. For the first time in her life thoughts of a possible relationship with a man entered her head.  She still didn't want marriage or children, but she began to open herself to the possibility of that happening one day.   Certainly not in the near future, but someday it could.

The most tempting and sweetest of fruit is the one that is forbidden and that was exactly what his kisses tasted like. The more he kissed her the more she knew this was wrong but yet she wanted more.  It was silly of her to think that this was wrong, there really was no reason she could think of why she should stop so she didn't.

And she entered his tent when he invited her in.

He turned out to be everything she fantasized about and more, but now their short time together came to an end.  He promised to call her, but it was a promise he didn't intend on keeping.  He already got what he wanted, it was on to the next one.

He took a picture with her as he did with all the notches on his tentpost.  He needed proof when he bragged and as soon as she left he forwarded that picture to all of his friends including Denny, with the message "My latest conquest"

To say Denny was livid when he saw that photo would be an understatement.  The first thing he did was to call Johnny right away to remind him who would take the fall for the kidnapping charges. Denny ordered Johnny to stay away from Starr and he informed him of exactly whose daughter she was.  Johnny still couldn't believe it, she was the daughter of the warlock.   How could he have been so stupid?  No wonder the bosses old man stopped them at the dance club that chick is his granddaughter.  Johnny had no intention of contacting Starr again but now he had an important reason not to do so.  Egypt was no longer a safe hide out for him, it was time to move on to another country, but where to?  He did like Chinese food, so China was his next stop.

Meanwhile back at home:

Things were changing at the house, Hope found out that the nausea she had been suffering from was not due to a stomach virus.  She was expecting their first child.  She tried to call Caleb but he was working a case and couldn't be reached.  It was better that way as she wanted to see his face when she gave him the news.  She picked up the phone and the first person she called was Grace to tell her she was going to be an aunt.  Her second call was to her mother.

When Starr arrived back home this is what she seen and she picked up her phone to check on the status of her place.  Pretty soon this place was going to get crowded.
