Chapter 45.3-The Fairy Godfather

This chapter was originally posted on 7/13/14

Denny grew up believing that his father was Pip Goodfellow, than one day he learned his entire life was one big lie.  His biological father was actually the wealthy and famous Rock Star Wolfie Landgraab and best friend Sandi was actually his twin sister.  Within the same week an adoption agreement was drafted and the Goodfellow family relocated to Sim York City.  Denny was fine with the arrangement but he always wondered why did his birth father give him up so easily?  Was it because he was a fairy and not a werewolf? Or did he just not want him?

He also questioned why Sandi was the lucky twin who got to live in the lap of luxury, while he lived modestly. She had a nice car and everything she could ever want, but not him he had nothing.  He was born an heir to a huge fortune yet he held no legal rights to an inheritance.  Wolfie did pay for his education but that is all he ever received from his wealthy father.  That was ok; he didn't need the Landgraab money.  By hook or by crook, he was going to go out there and make his own fortune, which he did illegally.

He started working as a number runner with the mob and he quickly worked his way into the family.  He caught the attention of the Consigliere and the Godfather who saw potential in him and he did not disappoint.  Now he was the Don of his own family and he was quickly taking over territories that he could call his own.

Taking over Moonlight Falls gave him such pleasure.  His family was forced to move out due to the strict code of honor of the fae. The Alto family controlled Moonlight Falls which meant he had to dethrone them.  He was lucky it was Brandon Alto and not Vita.  Vita would have given him a fight she was a business woman and highly respected by all the families.  Brandon on the other hand had no idea how to run a business, you never let your personal feeling get in the way of your job.  Taking Moonlight Falls away from Brandon was almost as easy as stealing candy from a baby.

This last job gave him a little fringe benefit as he was able to shake up his twin sister's perfect life.  He not out for revenge on her or the Landgraab family that simply is not the way you do business.  That was lucky for her because he needed her husband alive to point the finger at Brandon as his kidnapper.  Denny was also very good at covering his tracks, he hired a naive young fairy with white wings to take a fall for him if necessary.  He made sure that the warlock would be able to identify Devito, so all of his bases were covered and Moonlight Falls was now under his control.

Gretchen: When am I getting that engagement ring you promised me?  You said after this job was finished you would marry me.  I'm not a fairy and my biological clock is ticking so I don't have as much time as you do.

Denny: You'll have it and you will be Mrs. Denny Goodfellow before we move to our next destination.  Right now we have to tie up the loose ends here.  Call Devito and tell him to leave the Alto house immediately.

Gretchen:  What shall I tell him to do with the warlock?

Denny:  I don't care what he does with him, as long as he leaves him alive.  My goody two shoes sister will be there to save the warlock so we are giving him notice to get a head start before the pigs are all over that place.

And Honey, as soon as you finish come upstairs, maybe we can work on that biological clock situation of yours.  It’s about time I had an heir.

Gretchen: Hello Johnny.

It's time for you to leave.

Leave the warlock in the house and make sure you are not caught by the police.

Remember if you are caught it will be your ass on the line.  Don't get any crazy ideas of turning us in, even from prison our reach is long and you will not live to tell the tale.

To be continued.....

  1. Ahhh... and more is revealed. I totally understand Denny being bitter about the Landgraabs. LOL, so true, it must have been so easy to take things away from Brandon. I am wondering if Gretchen is going to stick around for much longer... I have this feeling Denny won't really want to marry her. Hahaha.

    1. Denny is bitter because he believes that Wolfie willingly gave him up in favor of his werewolf sister and the Goodfellows let him believe that. Truth be told Wolfie thought he was doing what was best for Denny and he did try to have a relationship with him but could never get past the Goodfellows.

Brandon was never a businessman so taking over Moonlight Falls was a piece of cake for Denny. Now that the whole world will blame Brandon for Dylan's kidnapping and there is also the three murder charges Brandon will never see the light of day ever again.

      Thanks for reading :)

  2. Aww. I wonder if he'll ever learn that not his father gave him up, but his mother gave up on his sister...

    1. At this point he has already been damaged too much and he is out for revenge.

  3. Oh wow... what a twist! It makes sense that Denny would be frustrated and anger and bitter about his parents' choices, but that's a horrible way to hurt his sister and family. I realize he wants to "take over" and control Moonlight Falls, but still, that's so sad that he kept Dylan all this time. I hope Sandi and Dylan will be reunited shortly and things will be okay. I am a little worried about this "taking over" but I'm glad Brandon will be behind bars.

    1. Denny has been misled about Wolfie all his life and he does indeed hold a grudge. If he only took time to learn the truth things might have been different. Kidnapping Dylan was business for him as he saw it as the way to get rid of Brandon and take over the moonlight falls territory. The fact that Dylan was his sister's husband was just an extra bonus for him.

Brandon is now out of the way but the problem for the family is now they have a new crime boss in town and this one actual has a brain and an ax to grind.
